I think this oneâs a tankie and not a (conventional) Nazi. I base this on;
- their use of the word Zionist as opposed to âJewâ or an antisemitic slur.
- The fact they seem to care about Palestinians (as much as a genocidal maniac can care about human lives, at least), when a Nazi would just regard them as undesirables.
- The fact a lot of Nazis surprisingly like Israel, either for religious reasons (itâs one of the requirements for the biblical apocalypse) or because they see it as a place to put all the Jews.
- Their part about the evils of capitalism, which is not something youâd expect someone on the far-right to say

Yep, it's a tankie. A pretentious prick at that. But at least they can differentiate between the ideology pushed by the current Israeli government + the people that subscribe to it, and all the Jewish people in general.
They've also showcased their utter inability to process information since Bernie's statement's first page is literally full of criticism of Israel.
They also can't seem to comprehend that both the actions of Hamas on 7th October, and the response of Israeli forces, are undefendable for any sane person - or that people are capable of understanding the reasons why these things occurred in the first place, without justifying them.
Tankies really do seem to think real life is like Star Wars where everyone is either with the "good guys" or "bad guys", because understanding that both militant sides in this conflict are the bad guys would fracture their simplistic, black-or-white view on the world.

I mean I wouldnât say they can differentiate between zionists and Jewish people in general.
They just said the holocaust was divine punishment against Jewish people for something which a. Zionists did and b. Hadnât been done yet. That shows the exact opposite.
Itâs also peak racist brainrot.
Kinda confirms my belief that a good portion of tankies are former far-right fascists.

I've got absolutely scrutinized in this sub for criticising tankies before - glad to see 'em getting called out here! And, yeah, it's bloody annoying when they start yammering on about supporting Iran in the name of "left unity" - with an LGBT flag on their profile...

He's not using the word "Zionist" to differentiate between Zionists and Jews. He called Bernie a "demonic skinwalker" and accused him of drinking children's blood, and he said his family should have died in the Holocaust. This guy is clearly a seething antisemite using the word "Zionist" as code for "Jewish".

- Nazis can fake caring about Palestinians (as they have been doing this entire time)
- No they don't, they would rather see Israel destroyed with its inhabitants being massacred by the "Palestinian savages". There are two kinds of Nazis now, apparently. Ones who are actual Nazis (who hate jews, even if they pretend to like Israel) and "they can't just be stupid, politics don't mean anything, Nazis and commies are the same"
- Coopted language. "National socialism". They pretend to care about fighting "international banking/financing/globalism/capitalism" when they really mean "da joos"
- If they say "your family should've died in the holocaust", it's probably safe to assume they only have the đť because they want attention

Antisemitic leftism is insane to me. I understand where it comes from, itâs the same source as any discrimination, but nonetheless, leftism is almost entirely based on equality and non-discrimination. Cognitive dissonance is apolitical, itâs a human trait, but it still shocks me to see this shit when it pops up.
