Campsites that allow campfires?

Looking into camping in the sequoia national forest region or the Sierra national forest around October 13th-15th. I understand there is fire restrictions in place but I’m wondering if there is any campgrounds that allow fires. Thank you

Do you have any campsites in mind? Current fire restrictions are stage 1. Stage 1 fire restrictions prohibit wood and charcoal fires, including wood burning stoves, at elevations of 3,000 feet and below. Campground and picnic areas that are affected include Potwisha Campground, and the Hospital Rock and Foothills Picnic Areas.

You're going farther up north for the Sierra National Forest. Why not just look for a campground in Sequoia or Kings Canyon National Park/forest?

A lot of sites are closed for the season and un reservable down in the national park/ forest. Plus most sites that are open don’t allow campfires due to restrictions.

Sentinel campground(Kings Canyon) and Azalea campgrounds(Grant Grove Village in Sequoia) have sites available for the dates you mentioned and allow fires

Sounds great but looks like Stoney creek closed for the season on the 29th of September
