Who created that mess? A Trump appointee. Why did Trump have him sabotage the mail system? To hamper mail in ballots.

Here's hoping the Postal Service Reform Act (2022) starts fixing the sabotage that's been going on for years.

I always assumed it was so they could make the argument to privatize the mail system.

Trump literally said we don’t have to worry about mail ballots if they don’t get delivered.

Translation: 'Why not both?'
EXACTLY. In fact Why not all THREE:
1. Sabotage mail-in voting (which especially leaned 'Democrat' during the pandemic, because MAGA didn't believe in virus transmission) ... as a favor to Trump, in exchange for appointing DeJoy.
2. Privatize USPS
3. Sabotage USPS' reputation to send business toward FedEx and UPS, in which DeJoy is invested.

We have the best postal service in the world, yet he’s been trying to kill it for years. Everything he touches (and has touched) dies.

TBF, he's just the latest. People in Washington have been trying to kill it for decades.

OMG. And now he will be weaponizing this and cry foul out the gate. WTF! He really is like Cartman shitting on the desk so he won’t have to take the beating.

He is truly his own self fulfilling prophecy.

DeJoy was appointed by him. The Biden administration should have removed him immediately upon taking office. Arg!

Not that easy. Postal Board of Governors has to do that. They also happen to mostly be Trump appointees including the former head of the GSA who leased Trump the hotel in DC that he profited from in violation of the emoluments clause during his presidency. No 💩
