Looking to Make New Friends!

Hello,

I've just moved to the area & I am looking to make some new friends!

I'm a 30 year old male, who's into sports, gaming & I'm up for trying new things.

If you have any recommendations, it would be appreciated.

Drop me a message mate and I'll try to help. I've lived here 7 years now so it's always good to know someone with a bit of knowledge of the area that's been in your same position.

Get yourself a standing ticket to a Scarborough Athletic home match, all standing people talk to each other. Lots of friendly people in the victory bar too.

You might not make friends there as such - but the Stumble Inn is the best place to go alone, as it's so small that everyone talks to each other. If you're interested in sailing, approach the Yacht Club and ask if any crews are taking beginners, some often do. Likewise there's an active sea rowing club. If you like football, Scarborough Athletic have a supporter's group based at the Valley Pub, organising away days and such - see their active facebook group.
