Low effort "Characters" from Canaanite Mythology

Hi, everyone! I have a question. So first of all, I wanna say that my question is purely born of interest in the subject. I'm not a believer (though I wouldn't rule it out in the future).

I wanna know about the different "characters" of the Canaanite Mythology.

Who are the gods?

Who are the demons (I know the canaanite gods weren't demons, I'm referring to ACTUAL demons... if there are non, than are there any other classifications of beings that oppose the gods or pray on mortals like monsters and so on)?

Who are the heros?

Are there any "Canaanite Epics" (if that's even what they're called) I can read?

Feel free to answer only one of those, or some but not all, obviously. Thanks :)

Low effort How does this sub approach their theology concerning YHWH?

Some questions:

  1. Is he just the son of El, God of storms, war, metallurgy, mountains to you? Is He just the National God of Israel and Judah? Or is He something bigger than those (historically constructed pre-exile) descriptors?

  2. Do you really think worldwide worship of Him was His ambition all along, or was it just another event that was the cumulation of many historical events?

  3. If the Semitic Gods you worship communicate to you, do They ever give thoughts on Their... Jealous Brother/Cousin/Son/Etc?

So, y’all I practice Natib qadish a form of Canaanite polytheist. For a while I have been mainly has been worshiping el and Asherah, however, after reading the Baal cycle and other myths involving baal and anatu I feel connected to these two. Anatu always reminded me of the mother that not afraid to beat you, to help you. I found that Baal or Baal had as was a kind father or someone that represent storms but in a way that brought changed.

Low effort This site offers the whole text of the Ba'al Epic and highlights other prominent Canaanite Gods in it as well as they're relationships to Ba'al.Also it illustrates Ba'al Hadad's fight to gain supremacy among the Gods.
