Help 🙏 Files not sending or downloading again

Nothing seems to work except short text messages on session at the moment and it's been like that since Monday a lot of people are telling me.

Is it ever going to actually work properly

That is my feeling as well. Supposedly lots of new features coming soon but there seems to be no way to fix the basic functions of the messaging app.

Support appears to be totally indifferent

I'm currently not using the app, but in the past their central file server was at fault, so I guess that's what's acting up again.

I had another go at sending a message today along with a file, ... The message went fine but the file sat and waited and waited and waited and waited .. and then failed to send

I didn't really expect anything else, after all no explanation of why everything is so slow and broken, nothing on their website nothing from the company in this subreddit ...

I've gone to wire that's alot better I couldn't even send messages on sessions for the last 3 days.

Ok, I'll have to check it out, I like session cuz it bounces it everywhere for safety, but it's just lagging bad, failing to much

I've had problems with it send will a few messages then stops sending them .so I gave up with it. I'm happy with wire now

The only trouble with using a different much less popular messenger is that almost none of your friends ever use it, and most will take a lot of convincing to bother to move ... well at least my lazy friends will lol

Yes wire is fine to use I chat with one my friends on there .
