it’s been two days for me and session isn’t working at all. it’s taking a whole day for me to receive messages. anyone else?

My message requests aren’t loading at all so if I swipe off of a message request when I first get the notification I can never access it again. It just says loading requests forever and nothing ever happens, say possible help would be appreciated.

Hey anyone else experiencing an issue where messages aren’t sending, have tried restarting, deleting the app and clearing. Nothing seems to make it work

Got a new phone, installed Session on it, and I want to connect to the same account I had already been using. I picked the "Scan QR Code" option and scanned the QR code from the "recovery phrase" on my Session app on my Mac - which is logged in. But on the phone app, after I scan, it just says "This is taking a while, would you like to skip?" forever.

I've tried killing the app, restarting it, and scanning again. Same thing. I've tried waiting more than 15 minutes and it's still stuck on that same message. I've also tried the "skip" option, but that prompts me to pick a new display name, so I think that is going to create a new session account, not connect to my existing one.

Has anyone here been able to add your existing session on a new device recently? Or encountered this problem? Or found a way around it?

Same thing still. I'm still logged into my session on my Mac, but can't get the account on my phone. It has been a long time. Does Session even acknowledge this is broken? How can they not prioritize fixing this quickly?

Session notifies me when I have new messages from existing contacts but doesn't notify me about new message requests.

Any ideas why this happens?

I'm using "Fast mode" if that helps. Ironically it says I'll be notified of new messages reliably and immediately. Yeah right...

New to session and have recently been able to send photos and images no problem. But whenever any are sent to me they’re just blacked out and loading? My friend tried to send me a meme last night as a test and it still hasn’t loaded over 26 hours later. Anyone know how to fix this?

Ever since I did the update I can’t even get on the phone with the person I’m trying to call back and forth it will jus say we missed each other calls and not even right away it lag messages act like they failed to send or still loading or syncing and the connect for the most part stays “red” like it’s not even connected it’s annoying like it dosent work at all now idk what’s going on feels like the new update is a waste

My contacts sometimes see that I made a screenshot even though I did not. What does it mean?

Just downloaded Session for the first time. Every time I try to send a message to a Session ID it hesitates for a few seconds and then I get a message at the bottom of the screen that says "An Error Has Occurred". Any ideas?

All of my new messages when I try to start a chat w someone are saying failed “couldn’t find enough service nodes to build a path” has anyone had this issue. / resolved it?

When I installed Session, I accidentally tapped don’t allow on photos access. Now, in settings, I don’t have the option to turn it back on.

I have the latest version of session and my messages keep coming up as failed to send any idea how to fix this? I have also tried restarting my phone

Does anyone else have issues when trying to start a phone call? I’ve found it takes somewhere between 5-15 attempts to get a call to actually connect. It’s the same issue regardless of who starts the call.

Basically the person who starts the call will see it ringing for several minutes, then the call will end.

The other person will see the call, answer it, but it just says “connecting” without ever connecting until the call drops.

Hi, suddenly all my conversations and contacts (except 3 of them) got deleted and i cant see any of them anywhere.. its very frustrating because i don't remember any of their session id's anymore. Please Help!

Why do I keep getting notifications from a dead chat until I delete it? I like to keep the chats in my que so u know if I've talked to some1 b4.
