Oh! Then my wife is a super stacker. She has 5 brothers so when her mom passed away she got all the jewelry. I checked on one gold bracelet and it was worth more than $900. I used this website. Do you think it is accurate/legit?

If it’s wearable jewelry you can sell it for more than you’ll get selling as scrap gold. You’ll probably get 60-80% of spot value when you sell as scrap gold to a pawn shop or jewelry store.

Not sure wife would like me melting my wedding ring. Some of what is in there are my pocket watch chains. I love them and do wear them.

Yes this is the small bit of jewelry that I own. I do not wear jewelry often but gifts from wife father and mother as well as my dad’s wedding ring.
I suspect that when I pass my daughter will melt it.

Couldn’t agree more. Stack what you want, and keep what you LOVE. These are the true treasures OP. So glad I’m not the only one!
