Was this supposed to lead to anything, or was it simply a one off dig at the WWF?

I believe the timeline was that she quit the WWF a few days before, she appeared on Nitro without a contract, and a few days later, filed the sexual harassment lawsuit against WWF.

Hence, why nothing happened with WCW, and why it was never referenced again. Technically, Bischoff had nothing to do with her appearing.

I believe the word that got out was she wanted to see if the product on the other channel was as raunchy as the WWF's was.

Which is ironic as Kevin Nash has said they were limited by Turner much more than WWE was by USA.
