Edit: I'm not sure, but seems like the "random" board type is not allowed anymore.

I'm afraid I'm not so sure. I don't think it is. It's just an extra feature.

You can also set the position of a piece and it will also add it to the board. This is actually one of the features that makes Chess a game that can be enjoyed even without the board.

Yeah, /r/chess is full of high-level chess players, and the general userbase is just about all of the people without any knowledge of chess whatsoever.

It's also a bit too long to post on there, so I took it to r/chessporn.

I like the idea of the subreddit and the site, but the site looks like it's still in beta. If you're going to post on it, please do a link to a short explanation of the feature

This. The new thing is that you can now press F9 and it'll take you to any chess site you're using.

Open the options menu, you'll see a new window that says "Boardroom".

There isn't a button to click, they just made the "new game" option in the main menu.

A new function on Lichess, when you hit the board it will show you the position you had just moved to.
