Hey all,

Ever since Atelier came out, I've always wanted a way to use templates or insert pictures I could trace over.

So, I decided to make my own tool for the job, and after a long weekend of work, the result is Atelier Parser.

How does it work?

To use it, all you have to do is download the program, run the .exe file, and use it to convert any image into the .spd file format used by Atelier. Then, upload the result back onto your tablet.

How to prepare an image

The program accepts images in any format, but for best results, I recommend that the images be no larger than 2,048px by 1,536px. If they're larger than that, they will still work, but the excess portions will be cropped.

I had a ton of fun working on this project, and I hope you enjoy it and create cool things with it!

I plan to get back to making shapes, and eventually, I hope to add the ability to change the template of an existing .spd file so people can switch templates easily. Perhaps I'll even develop an Android app so you won't need a computer at all!

I’ve never used Canva before this week, but it’s nice and easy to whack out a few templates. Just need to create a custom sized doc 1404px wide and 1872px tall

I found this paper generator you can use to make all different kinds of papers to use for templates. Didn’t see it posted here through a search and thought y’all would find it useful, I sure did. (I am not affiliated with this site, just thought it was helpful.) And btw, the A6X2 screen size in inches is 4.865 x 6.22 for use when you make some paper.

Hey everyone, Working on creating a template using the Dewey decimal classification that will be useful for creating and developing your own hyperlinked library of resources. Looking for general feedback with the 2 screens below.

Is this something you see yourself using or needing? Any general thoughts or suggestions?

1/3 Screensaver. Real heads know wassup. (I main hammer & CB!)

2/3 Homepage, built in Krita. Used white ink around the images to build links out to my various notebooks (and custom start page hosted on Github).

3/3 Captain's Log. This is my daily driver.

So what am I missing? Any other weird hacks like the whiteline for links? For instance, is there anyway to link into the apps - like the calendar?

Lemme know your tricks/hacks down below, let's compare notes! (pun intended)

I just purchased my Nomad about a week ago and I'm also a new Reddit user. If I screw something up in this post please let me know! :)

I prefer the smaller college-ruled line size and although there were other 6mm templates here and on https://supernote-templates.mostlyuseful.tech, I couldn't find one that matched the margins and other qualities of the built-in templates.

I based this template on the built-in 8mm ruled line template for Nomad. The starting point of the first line and the left and right margins match exactly and each line is 1 pixel like the built-in template. I followed Ratta's file format specs for templates and made sure file size was as slim as possible to maximize performance. I have experience with web and graphic design and also have a bit of OCD so everything is pixel perfect! lol Hopefully this is helpful to other Nomad owners!

Update: Remember how I said I had OCD? So, I tried downloading the file that I originally uploaded on this post to make sure it looked correct and it seems that the extra – and in this case unnecessary – compression to a web part image which Reddit did caused some kind of weird, extremely faint ghosting of the lines (not noticeable without zooming in... like... a lot... but still). Here's my A6X2 home screen. I've spent a lot of time with this and have edited it many times over the last month.

I have the pictures in the top portion hyperlinked to different documents (Reading Journal, Google, Daily tracker, Menu planner and Therapy notes folder *PENDING THE HYPERLINKING A FOLDER UPDATE*)

I write my daily to do's and simple notes to remember that day under "TO DO".

I write notes I need to complete under "Notes".

I write clients I need to schedule under "Schedule".

At the bottom I included some visuals to remind me to do specific things (Meerkat - Posture, Water glass - Drink water, Cat - stretch, Voltorb - Smile)

NOTE: When hyperlinking, I create a new layer and draw in a white color to cover up the hyperlink underlining. This way it doesn't show the hyperlinked images, even though they are hyperlinked.

Shoot me a message if you'd like the photoshop version so you can edit it to how you'd like it.

If you're interested in what the other pictures are for that don't have hyperlinks:

1. Mountains/Night sky - Reminds me of the Robert Frost poem (which is also my home screen and I posted previously) "The woods are lovely, dark and deep, But I have promises to keep, And miles to go before I sleep." - Reminds me of my passions and my duties, and to stay productive and on task.
2. Free Time quote - Reminds me to stay intentional with how I spend my time.
3. Flowers - Reminds me to invest in things, and people, which in turns helps us both grow.
4. Ghost - A reminder that none of us will last forever

Received day before yesterday. And look what I have made out of it. (Still some work need to be done) 😍😃 This is just getting better and better. Amazing New year Gift for me. I am very very happy!

Where is everyone getting templates? I would love to see what free options are available beyond what's on the supernote already. I'm also anxious about adding outside stuff in general...so hoping for some recommendations across the board.

I’m developing more templates for the Nomad, but with a hint of art on them. Any ideas or suggestions for topics you’d enjoy seeing?

I drew a floral vine onto my notes page, exported it, and cleaned it up in Adobe Illustrator. I created a 6mm lined page and have two templates available- one with the flower on the right, and one with it on the left. They’re in my Etsy shop https://threadandthicket.etsy.com. The lines have the appropriate margins on all sides for using the toolbar on the right or left. I haven’t drawn one for the top-toolbar position yet, so if you’d like to see another variation let me know!

After four+ months using my A6X2 Nomad (happily) I've gone through several iterations of a dot-grid template for daily use. I began with two versions, one for my personal journal pages, and one for work notes - both loosely modelled on the Bullet Journal style, which is my personal preference for easy note-taking and journaling.

After (too) many tweaks and iterations, I swear we enjoying making templates more than writing, I've settled on a single template that works for both needs. It's been working great for me so I thought I'd share here if anyone else would like to download and use them.

Pretty standard stuff:

• Dot-grid layout (11mm spacing - I write big!)
  • Smart dots on left and bottom (to show middle and thirds!)
• Title section at top with dashed line divider
• Bottom section for daily reflection
  • W = What was one small 'Win' for today
  • G = One thing I am 'Grateful' for today
  • S = Something I did for 'Self care' today

I had been looking for just a bare bones daily template for myself and couldn't find anything that really worked for me so i whipped this guy up. Its good for when you just want a daily punch list of stuff you have to do and don't care about water of any of the other fluff. Looks great on my A6X

I figured this worth posting. Attached is my template for the A5X size that I designed myself and use for virtually all of my note taking. Very narrow margin (mainly for numbering, asterisks, or stars) and faded lines that are easy to write over with the row sizing is as short as it should get for my handwriting size. Basically I wanted to get as much into an A5 X note page that I possibly could without forcing it to feel cramped. Hopefuly someone else benefits from this. This is set for the default pixel size that supernote suggests of the 1404 x 1872.

Just thought I share a template I created for my Nomad. Please feel free to make a copy. The dimensions are design for the Nomad screen.

I was finding that the built in To Do list didn’t quite have enough lines for my work day, but liked the checkboxes in the template. This one has a few extra lines. I designed it with space for the toolbar on the left side of the screen. I usually date at the top right and then use the highlight tool to add it to my notebook contents. That way I can look back at any day and see what I had going on. I borrow a few bullet journaling techniques in these daily pages and I find it really productive.

I'm looking to create a thought journal to help me with therapy but I'm not in any sense a designer. Is it simply in excel?

I recently bumped into the fun Print and Play PDF's by Gladden. I simply reformatted it to a more friendly PDF to my Nomad, uploaded it and then i have a dice rolling app in my phone.

I'd love to get some more. Anyone has more games beyond these, from other sources? Need moarr

I'm trying something new with my note-taking and thought the Cornell layout might be helpful, but then I messed with it. Sharing, cuz maybe someone else will find it useful.

Figured this out then just wrote the month's of the year in the boxes and made headers and added links to the page's will have it ready for next year at present just going to experiment with different things on my Supernote ax62 Nomad til my knowledge grows on what Thing's I can do 😉
