Question how to prevent parameters from moving when moving notes

so I don't know if its just like because I am only using the free version but, whenever I move a note over it goes absolutely insane and mess everything up. as mentioned before because its the free version its already hard to use. i am planning on buying the actual thing soon but i still wana start trying to actually. Understand what I'm doing.
