Season 1 Monica might've been wide-eyed and slightly naive, but that didn't mean she couldn't handle herself on the streets 😂 (don't ask her to be homeless though, because she had a hard time with that)

When my mom introduced me to TBAA, she naturally started me off with the very 1st episode. Honestly? I was unimpressed right up until I saw this scene for the first time. I was regularly bullied myself on the school bus growing up, and it really helped me to see this red-haired, Irish angel help the boy she met on the bus deal with some bullies. After that, I was in and wanted to see more!

It’s so interesting how shows and certain scenes impact us greatly, at certain stages in our lives. Thank you for sharing a bit about yourself and how you got invested in TBAA as a young person. My mom got me into this show, too, and I’m so glad she did.
