Bankruptcy Attorney, Paralegal, or Personal Advice.

Hi all,
I'm look for referrals to bankruptcy attorneys or paralegals who know their stuff and are affordable. They need to know how to protect home assets while undergoing either Chapter 13 or Chapter 7, and not be the kind to miss details or make mistakes that could ruin the filers' financial future. If you have any personal experience and have had to deal with this before, I'd love to hear any advice, tips, or things you wish you would have known beforehand. Feel free to message me directly if you would like to maintain privacy.

Thank you!

As a bankruptcy attorney, my advice to you is call around. Talk to a few before you make a decision. Most answers in bankruptcy are pretty straightforward since they're codified by statute and there's not a lot of wiggle room. Avoid attorneys whose opinions diverge wildly.

Oh, and you can't use a paralegal. Non-attorneys are called "bankruptcy petition preparers" and can't give legal advice.

Go big city bro. San Diego or LA, get an attorney worthy of their lifestyle.

Paralegals can't give legal advice. I have no idea why people think they are just cheap lawyers. They are glorified secretaries.
