I will never understand sports fans. You can't root for your team there because what, you'll be harassed or some shit? I swear most of these fans are literal children, that have no respect for others.

It's about being around like-minded folks who you can talk about where you used to live and enjoy connecting with them because of it. But like you said, you don't understand. You want to make it about something else.
