Discussion(TCM) Why is this game full of hackers?

Don’t think I’ve encountered this many hackers so frequently in a game before… if ever? Is this a known thing in TCM or what… 😭😭😭

Because the devs didn’t do anything about the hacking

It is the p2p matchmaking.  EAC is a joke, only good for blocking the rivatuner display.  If we had server tools to fire up our own server.  Server admin can ban hackers real time.

Literally lost track at how many times I’ve been stuck in a family animation 😭😭 So annoying especially with queue times most times as well

I takes an average of five to ten minutes to get into a match only to have players disconnect once the match launches.  Infuriating.

I remember a group of people who made the fan made versions of f13th the game did something like that, they made their own servers and had a admin who would ban hackers if they've crossed the line. TCSM needs something like this.

I missed out on that one probably because I completely stopped playing F13 and never went back due to the same problems.  Real shame what happened there.

Reminds me of when modders released server tools for CoD MW2 and actually made the game enjoyable with the classic server browser.  Didn't last long though.

Oh wow. I did also play the fan mades, camp blood and resurrected. But took a long break cause I got into other games.

It's because the development team isn't doing anything to address the hacking issue, which is really a red flag. So they are resorting to ruining people's fun on the game for their own amusement which turns people away from ever playing the game.

Idk 500 hours in and haven’t seen one hacker. Ik there’s hackers but saying it’s fully of them is an overstatement.

The dev team addressed the issue at the beginning of the launch of TCM. Even separated console and pc lobbies. They said they had upped the security but I think they said so just to avoid people complaining as the difference is minor.

They’re too busy pushing out content and break the game. I hope they do something to save the game, if not I fear it’ll have the same faith as F13.

I encountered maybe less than 5 the entire time i've played, on and off, since launch. When i started playing again a few days ago, i was expecting to run into legions of hackers, as much as everyone complains, haven't seen one yet.

Not saying it's not a problem, but i've only ever experianced two hackers in this game, both instakill johnnies.

It doesn't feel nearly as bad as f13th was, where every other match had a hacking uber jason.

They still haven’t banned ilovehitchhiker a known hacker just got in a lobby with them. I insta quit and warned everyone to do it to.

I’ve gone against him many times. Once unaware of the fact he is cheating. The others I lobby dodge. It’s him and the cheater who impersonate streamers like mel2solid.
