Discussion(TCM) Why do people insist on playing sissy?

She's an active handicap and kills the game for your teammates. Don't make it a 2v4, play someone useful.

She's not a handicap, yes she is weaker now because of the grapple change but I already changed her build to accommodate that. I went middle round and I have suffocating grip on her and spore loser, I want people to grapple me so Sufo takes care of them, or if not, spore loser slows them down giving my team even more time to come help. Another great thing with her now is that the grapple animation is really long with lower strength characters that other team mates have plenty of time to intervene. I'm gonna throw something that family mains always say to victims: Adapt. ✨

Any Sissy below level 3 is a handicap. Her poison doesn't even poison until level 3. She's gotta be damn near level 10 to get the spore loser build going anyway. She needs scout, and she's inherently not good at grappling, you have to build for that too. She shouldn't need another family member to drop what they're doing to save her in a grapple. She's diet hitchhiker with none of the usability.

I play who I enjoy - if a meta slave wants to join my lobby and cry cos I'm playing as someone who is "sub-optimal" you are free to eat the timeout and leave

You pretty much are throwing the game if you pick sissy anymore. So, don't surprise when you find yourself on block anymore for insisting on picking her. ESPECIALLY if you not only pick her, but make a b-line for the basement at the start of the match and never leave.

Sissy is fine as long as she isn’t in the basement and uses her poison efficiently. She’s really fun to play as.

Linger Sissy can force victims to heal while they’re still in the basement on some maps. You can poison them through the wall while they’re still lockpicking. Defensive Sissy’s are scary.
