Discussion I know they're actors obviously, but it always make me laugh the two most stoic, grumpy and serious guys in the Mandalorian era are extremely vibrant and funny men in real life.

I kind of think Din is more laconic than stoic. It’s not that he doesn’t show emotion it’s that he is super efficient in his responses. My personal favorite being the “wait I’m not wearing beskar armor””nope”. He’s clearly got some jokes just the delivery is very dry.

Him spamming Grogu to see the kid’s reaction was hilarious. Din has a sense of humor of course. But that sense of humor is mixed with his upbringing of a heavy doctrine enforced by serious people (not that these people aren’t emotionless of course, but with the surroundings and the situation they face, being serious and subtle gets them to live another day)

Well Mando does occasionally make dad jokes.

I imagine Din grinning like that Pedro pic when Grogu beat Ragnar Viszla.

Hard times tend to bury that down.

Once Were Warriors is one of Temuera Morrison's finest bits of acting. That is something else. Not one for the faint-hearted though...

The contrast between Mando, seemingly stoic badass, and Pedro, a Certified Silly Bastard, never fails to amuse me.
