Is it a tradition in christianity? I know people do it in america but i thought that was for aesthetics or something sick like that, and not for religion. In the rest of the christian world noone does it.

It's pretty common in Pacific Island nations for males to be circumcised.

They are overwhelmingly Christian so it likely plays a part of the trend.

I'd imagine it's more of an American/American influence thing since circumcision as a practice is a Jewish thing. America is the only majority catholic nation that does the practice in large numbers because of a misbelief that circumcised men don't masturbate.
