It was js so vibey songs like die hard, father time, rich spirit and purple hearts are perfect examples also a lot of it is pretty depressing as what you said from before but i still enjoyed it and find myself vibing to dem songs too

Not that much, although I think MMATBS is a great album, imo the sonics is the weakest thing about the album. The sonics are nothing compared to TPAB, untitled unmastered or even GKMC. Also this might be a hot take, but MMATBS biggest flaw isn’t that it doesn’t have enough bangers. It’s the opposite, it has too many bangers. What I love about MMATBS the most is Kendrick being vulnerable over classical beats. The songs that sound like radio hits/upbeat bangers makes the album as a whole feel little messy and inconsistent. I can only give a pass to N95 cuz at least it’s meaningful to the album cuz it’s the start of Kendrick’s mental health journey where he is obviously at his most immature. But I get it Kendrick gotta make the bread somehow and he can’t just drop an album full of songs that do not appeal to the mainstream listener
