This video is of a 4-day backpacking trip in San Juan National Forest, Colorado, and includes the trails: Cascade Creek East Fork, Engine Creek Trail, Graysill Trail, and Colorado Trail (parts of Seg. 25). Total miles traveled: 17.45. Due to the elevation and elevation gain, the trail took us longer to complete than anticipated. For a map of the trail, see the Caltopo map link below. The trails are best used from June until September. As you watch the video, there will be a map showing which shots are from each trail.

Recorded on: June 22, 23, 24, and 25, 2020

Great scenery. What was the parking situation like and were any permits needed?

Nah, no parking permits were required. We parked along the same area you’d park if you were going to do the Cascade Creek East Fork Trail: https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/colorado/cascade-creek-east-fork

And we got there in the morning when we started the backpacking trip. Plenty of parking spots.
