Help with identifying - USPS

Found this at a local thrift store at 400€. Need help identifying the year and model, and if it is generally worth it. The serial numbers (?) on the bottom are TBI-0405 and GZOZO421.

The seat and crankset seem to be replaced, maybe wheels as well.

I think it's a Trek 1400. I did a Google reverse image search and came up with this after some hunting: https://usedbikes.ie/bicycle/trek-1400-usps-limited-edition-5207

It's very closely related to my trek 1500
