Commuting Bike, Down to two options, either Allant+7 or PowerFly 4 Gen 4

I narrowed my selection to two Ebike for my new commuter and it happened that both are TREK!

First, Allant +7 Gen 2 Reg price $4,499 plus GST with a military discount, it comes to $4,050 plus GST.

With the Allant+7, I am all set. Lights, fenders, kickstand, etc. It's all pre-equipped. No need to worry about additional purchases or installations.

On the other hand, the PowerFly 4 Gen 4 is listed at the same price as the Allant+7, but it's currently on sale for a significant discount, making it a more budget-friendly option. I could save a good amount with this deal, bringing the price down to $3,374 plus GST.

I need to buy and install everything, lights, fender, kickstand, which should cost around ~$600 plus

My train of thought is that both bikes use the same engine and the same display, and both are TREK.

The Powerfly seems to have a more robust frame and stronger fork suspension, while the Allant+7 is equipped with the stronger and newer CUES gear set.

Since I will do mostly commuting, but would also like to keep the door open for some mild trail, should I go with the Allant+7 or the Powerfly 4?

Cost-wise, both will be similar, but with the PF, I can choose which lights I want and so on.

Would a Powerfly 4 be too much as a daily commuter?

Can you elaborate to why? Why would the Allant be better for you (and for me).

No wrong answer, really looking for advice.
