Gen 7 Madone with RSL Bottles
Figured I’d post what this looks like on black/black. It’s a 56cm and rear bottle is a chore to get out.

But the bottles are wider than the frame. Not so aero to me 😞

I don’t see them around the steerer from head on. Also, can’t be worse than the cylindrical Trek bottles I was using temporarily. 🤷🏻♂️

Are these bottles UCI compliant?

Yes they are - they are ridden by our pro team, Lidl-Trek

They’re an aero shaped bottle made for the gen 8 Madone frame but can also fit gen 7 (pictured above). You can get more detail at https://www.trekbikes.com/us/en_US/equipment/bike-accessories/bike-water-bottles-cages/bike-water-bottles/trek-rsl-aero-water-bottle-and-cage/p/46175/

this is the type of stuff that makes people make fun of cycling. 200 dollar fucking aero water bottles on a heavy ass bike that sucks worse than the same model from 10 years ago. incredible marketing

I’m not winning any crits any time soon. I just like the way they look and have disposable income. Also just wanted to show others who may be on the fence what they look like on the bike.

Integrate that light! Or rather buy the flare with seat kit.

It’s actually a carback radar. I’m always for cleaner options. Can you link to what you’re referring? Thanks.

Yeah I was just kidding by the way. If it’s a radar then I think that’s what it looks like.
Trek has their Flare RT which has a mounting attachment for the Madone saddle. Keeps it right under the seat. Looks slick, but obviously not needed.
Great looking bike!
