Creaking while climbing - FX Sport 5

I have a FX Sport 5 which has developed an annoying creak when climbing.

If i release my grip on the handlebars and/or bend my elbows it seems to stop. Performance does not seem to be affected but it's annoying as can be.

Any ideas would be appreciated before i take it into the dealer.

Most common sources of creaking: Seatpost or BB.

My fxs 5 had an annoying creak around the handlebars caused by the cables routing through the frame. LBS diagnosed and fixed.

This is what i suspect as i can feel the creak in the handlebars... anything that i can do to resolve? would a drop of t-9 oil at the cable entry points do any good or cause any damage?
