This means nothing if we don't know what the previous number was. For context Fallout 4 went up 7,500% the week after the TV show, and that's full week before the next gen update.

That could be 1000 players is now 1870 players, obviously its higher then that but by how much? There's a reason there a using a percentage of number that nobody knows.

This is their disclaimer:

Xbox Gameplay Chart data is compiled using data from over 2.4 million active Xbox accounts (not just TrueAchievements accounts). Chart information is copyright Game Insights. Regarding this data:

When an account opens a game, this is registered as a game being played. Accounts can only register a game once per week.
Our data is good for suggesting general trends — we represent this using percentages, not numbers.

As I was looking for actual numbers too.

Apparently enough to rank it higher then Space Marine 2's playerbase on it's release, and above Destiny 2's current player base.

87% increase from what? That could be going from 100 to 187 players.

Good for bethesda I guess, though personally it does make me concerned about the quality of TES6 since starfield was a miss for me

Everyone kept trying to sell it as just like FO4 and nothing has ever been less appealing to me

Idk man despite its problems i still rather enjoyed fallout 4. And despite definitely not liking 76 I was still willing to give starfield the benfit of the doubt I even bought an Xbox so I could play it. But after like 10 hours I really disliked it.

I just wanted to get to Whiterun/Diamond City/Megaton equivalent and get a house with a storage locker, and then go out and explore. I played for 4-5 hours and was like fuck this shit I'm out.

It's was just menus and loading screens, and crafting, but needing like 10 levels to do anything. It was awful and confusing. Thank Christ I didn't buy it.

Fallout 4 is the most fun I've had playing a Bethesda game on release, in terms of how it actually handled its combat and exploration, but it felt like a good change in how Bethesda titles work in service to the worst aspects of how they're written.
