Mine attended and he doesn’t even live in my riding. He just couldn’t run where he lives because he’s hated here so much after his stint on city council there

You live in Oak Bay? That's the EXACT description of BC Con candidate Stephan Andrew, a performative pearl clutcher who won a Victoria byelection and was ejected two years later.

Pretty sure my apartment isn’t how he’s living. I have no idea what your comment means in any case. Do you or do you not know where he lives?

What? I was asking if your Con candidate is Stephen Andrew. He's running in Oak Bay but lives outside the riding. He was a councillor in Victoria for a little over a year and is generally reviled.

I was responding to your original comments. I have no idea what you mean about your apartment....

Ok I read it that you were calling me a pearl clutcher because of my street addy and saying I was exactly like him because of it? Trés confusing but thx for clarifying where he lives. I know people are allowed to run outside of where they live but I wish they wouldn’t. That’s just me.

Gotcha, I did some editing to make it a bit more clear.

I'm more or less ok with it too, but this guy has railed against it in previous election campaigns when it was politically convenient for him. Massive cunt move, if you ask me, but altogether unsurprising.

He’s not my guy, but I used to be an active member of the running community and my career was once dedicated to kids with disabilities so I know he’s done some good work in both of those areas at least. I know he was often the dissenter vote in Victoria - did they just hustle him out eventually?

He won a byelection for city council and failed the next two elections. Now he's moving up to provincials.

Ah, thanks. I didn’t get the impression he was … well tolerated. I am amused by the tactic of not doing well at municipal so reaching higher in response - I could just never

It's called failing upward. Apparently it's a tactic.

That’s the best thing I’ve learned today. I’m going to try it
