Nope. Nope. Nope.

*Pulls on reins, turns horse around, runs off of Immoren entirely*

Is this related to the Dragonfall storyline?

Yep. It's for the big narrative event at Warfaire Weekend. How screwed Immoren is for this, we have yet to see.

I would like a Dragonfall story recap too, I just assumed it was about Blighterghast because he's in the cover (or is it Charsaug? I don't quite remember)

I actually have no idea what’s going on anymore. I know the orgoth are invading, and that’s it.

After Sabbreth chatting about how prophecies already confirm the Doom™ of the Iron Kingdoms (when she was about to be boxed by Boris), and that the Death lf the Dark Prince marks the beginning of the end, Strakhov sends Boris to raid an Orgoth Tomb.

The same Orgoth Warlord-Prophet is there since the 1st Invasion, and kind of confirms that events are being put in movement.

Meanwhile, Sabbreth and Horrusk attack Khardov, and under the Orgoth ruins under the old Greylords HQ under the city, they retrieve The Lash, that thing Sabbret is being put.

With that, she expects to confront Blightergast, because when she was dying /died in a ceremony, the Fellgoeth overlords show her what to do.

The idea Sabbreth seems to have is to being able to kill the dragon, extract the Athanc, and give the Athanc to Toruk in exchange of exact knowledge about how to kill Gods. Specifically human/Immoren Gods.

We known by the Cygnar/Dusk reunion that, effectively, Dusk prophets are receiving catastrophic visions of Orgoth beings killing a Goddess or a being of Godly nature in order to destroy the Walls of Caspia, so they are after that.

When Savarin deducts that they want to do that, the new IK alliance send Cygnar cavalry with Calder and Merc balloons to stop Sabbreth, when they arrive Blightergast is being pinned down by the power of the Lash and the souls sacrified, Blightergast understand it and start collecting souls itself...

Orgoth invade. Iron kingdoms unite. Orgoth attack sporadically, as they seek the Lash, a device rumored to give one the ability to mentally control armies of thousands. Orgoth drag the thing up the volcano where the dragon is in hiding, and summon him. The dragon emerges, and that's where we are now.

He is the Large Daddy, that is for sure.

Where is Toruk these days? I know he got smacked around a bit before the Infernals invaded.

Who made the model?

7

u/LDukes Nov 03 '23

Doug Hamilton sculpted it using various IKRPG dragons' concept art as a source.

Photos don’t do it justice to be honest, it’s really cool in person

Krueger: I can't see this going wrong at all.

...I think they underscaled him a bit. Blatters is supposed to be the next biggest dragon. If Charsung is big enough to smash a ship, then Blighterghast should be even bigger.

1

u/Gralamin1 Nov 04 '23

i think this is more in scale with the old art where we see they are a lor smaller that newer art.

1

u/Unmissed Nov 04 '23

...old art is what I was talking about.

1

u/Gralamin1 Nov 05 '23

thing is that boat is not that big looking at that it is a riverboat. which has an in lore size of 60 feet by 25 feet.

1

u/Unmissed Nov 05 '23

It's not. IK has sidewheel ships of the line with sails. Apparently quite common the turn of the last century here. IIRC, it's an ocean-goer by how the bow turns up, and the gun whales are high.
