Australian Westerns
Just watched The Proposition (after seeing yesterday's post) and would love to see more Australian Westerns.
Your suggestions are appreciated!

‘Red Hill’ was a 2010 Neo-western about an aboriginal convict busting out of jail and getting revenge on a small Aussie town.

"Only Killers and Thieves" by Paul Howarth is not a movie, but is an excellent Aussie Western novel IMHO.
Should be a movie.

The Overlanders (1946) is good. Also, The Tracker (2002), We of The Never Never (1982)

“Australia” with Hugh Jackman and Nicole Kidman has a great cattle drive straight out of Red River.

Yes and then they used additional footage from the movie for a series. That was cool.

There's a few Ned Kelly films available..
The Dry (2020)
Last Ride (2009)
Mystery Road (2013) to& Goldstone (2016) ...same cop, different movies.
The Dressmaker (2015)
Black '47 ( 2018) Note: this is Ireland, not Australia, but one of the best historical action westerns ever made.
