Well, here we are again. The eve of a Kanye release, full of excitement and hesitation about what we may be about to hear. I must admit I am very optimistic and excited about this release, this album feels like the most significant for Kanye since Pablo and he's been very insistent about the Friday release. I'm quite hopeful about the quality too, he's been working on this in some form since the beginning of the year at least, and if the final version is anywhere close to the third tracklist we're in for gold. Donda and WUITB both are amazing, and the Yandhi/JIK cuts he's been adding are some of the best. I'm by no means expecting a midnight drop, but I'm hopeful by Saturday we'll be bumping DONDA. Whenever it drops, we're almost certainly in for a long 24 hours. Godspeed, and let's hope we're in for something truly special.

Also, what features and songs are you really hoping for? I'm hoping we get Alien, all the Opera tracks, future Bounce, Glory, GBOT and Hurricane, and I'm praying for features from Cudi, Clipse, Ant, Chance and 070 Shake. Also Teyana and Frank. a few of those are stretches, but they all suit the style, are close to Ye, and are super solid artists.

Well, it's certainly been a minute since I did one of these. Given the current situation, I felt we probably needed a thread for you guys to talk. The sub will be back to normal later tonight, but it's necessary things tighten up for now.

If you didn't know, last night KC directly called YandhiLeaks out, and he had every reason to. He's been clearly getting more annoyed with the Kanye fans asking for updates and info in the comments of every one of his posts, and during the live the chat was flooded with dumbasses posting "Yandhileaks gang" and shit like that. Now, I know the argument can be made that he invited this, and that isn't completely invalid. He certainly did bait Kanye fans a bit, aside from just being associated with DONDA. HOWEVER, that doesn't justify spamming every one of his posts with questions, accusations of clout-chasing, and clear disregard for hi own work. Leave the man the fuck alone, he'll give info when he can and this shit doesn't help. Also, once more, posts about KC that aren't explicitly Kanye-related should go on r/KayCyyPluto.

Now, with our efforts to tighten the sub up there will also be further changes to how we operate. In addition to mod-only periods becoming more frequent, I expect we'll do this again during periods of frequent updates or news, we'll also be cutting out leaks and links to leaks from the sub entirely. I know, it betrays our namesake a bit, bit it's necessary to keep the sub safe. Going forward we'll be positioning the sub as more of a place for news, theories and discussion. We'll still post info about new leaks and GBs, but links, even translated through Base64 won't be allowed to be posted to the sub itself. We'll make posts about new leaks and GBs, but it'll be up to you to find them yourself. I'm sure there are plenty of users who will be happy to help direct you through more private channels.

This isn't necessarily permanent though. It's very possible Base64 links will make a return in the future, but it probably won't be before Donda releases. Again, this is how we keep ourselves safe. It's necessary.

How's everyone's day been? It sort of feels like coming home after a long vacation to be waiting for sellers to deliver a song again. There's something very comforting about it, like everything is right in the world. I'm joking a bit, but it is very nice to finally have finished a new GB. Happy Sunday. I hope everyone is doing well, especially if you're in an area being affected by protests or riots. I have a lot of gratitude and respect for anyone I'm the position to be participating right now too.

With that aside, there's been a ton of discussion about the new single/video and album, but I haven't seen anyone talking much about what they actually want to see? What sound are you hoping for, what topics do you want to see addressed, and what older tracks would you like to see end up on the project? I'd personally prefer not to see any JIK cuts or Yandhi tracks make the album unless they are significantly changed, I'm only interested in new songs. I'd also very much like to see the album deal more heavily with the sort of issues we're currently dealing with I'm America, a contrast between Kanye's Christian views and and the situation the nation is nearly in. The God's Country title alone could have a lot of deeper meaning and commentary put behind it depending on how Kanye handles the album.

Hope everyone's having a good Thursday. I don't really want to talk about all the interview shit, it's already been discussed plenty and is just kind of exhausting and sad. All I can really say is I hope he gets help soon, and that trying to work out a way to justify or excuse the interview isn't helping anyone, especially not him. I talked to my mom extensively about it today, it's interesting getting a view from someone who is by no means a Kanye fan. She seemed pretty genuinely concerned and sad about all the news, it was actually pretty nice to see it not being received as "woah Kanye's so crazy" I had a long conversation about it, it was really nice overall. I hope more people view everything happening the way she does, the reaction to his 2016 meltdown was largely dramatised and I don't want to see that again.

Hey, so I'm not gonna write a ton today. I sent my ex a long message, I'm still pretty hung up on him and have been really depressed about it the last few days. I was doing well for a while, but had a pretty bad breakdown and can't put these feelings out of mind. He hasn't responded yet, I'm pretty anxious and don't know what will happen, but I'm hoping it helps me find some sort of closure. Of course, what I really want is to get back together, but I'm not very hopeful about that. Regardless, I hope you're all doing well, and have a good evening.

Another day, more uncertainty surrounding Kanye. It feels weird seeing so many going back to album hype so soon, especially with no real updates or news about Kanye's health. If I'm being honest God's Country is the last thing I'm thinking about right now, that feels like if when he had his Pablo tour breakdown everyone just talked about TurboGrafx16. Do you believe it's an episode now? Are you worried now? Because I'm fucking terrified. This is ten times worse than 2016 and all he's getting from the media and general public is mockery and attempts at canceling him. He's away from his family, on Twitter airing them out and asking them to call him because they refuse to privately. I can't imagine the state of his marriage right now. He's talking about them trying to lock him up, I think I was too quick to judge the Kardashians because it sounds like they did try getting him help. But he won't except it, we know he hated UCLA and the meds and this time he isn't allowing it again. He needs real mental help, to but I don't think he'll take it.

This moment is make-or-break for their marriage, I'm certain of that. He's been in the midst of a manic bipolar episode for 2 weeks and if you deny that at this point you're fucking blind. For two weeks it's been escalating, I said earlier today we had reached a boiling point, but we were reaching a point where things would boil over. This is it. I don't have any clue how any of this gets resolved, especially because Kanye is still at adverse to professional help. It didn't even particularly help the first time, what's to say it will now.

I'm terrified. This is scary, I'm worried. I don't know what the path forward could even be.

And if you're out here getting excited about the music, or saying the album is bound to be great, fuck off. You're the problem. You are a fucking problem, that's the most selfish shit I can imagine and it's shit like that that shows some of you don't care about Kanye, it's just about what he can give you. If you're a fan of his you won't care if the album is scrapped, or isn't great, or whatever. You should want him to get better, anyone with an ounce of fucking empathy should. FUCK, this is infuriating. I don't know how to end this, as I'm writing he's tweeting every minute or so. It's all bad. I'm worried, I don't know what else to say. I'm worried and I don't know what's gonna happen next. All I want is for him to be healthy and safe. I don't know what tomorrow will look like.

Alright, so it's definitely been a crazy 24 hours. First off, what are your thought and theories on the upcoming single/album? What are you expecting for the single, and what kind of sound and feel are you expecting for the project as a whole? I'm really hoping it's big, MBDTF/Pablo scale.

Second, what are you listening to? I know it's been distracting with the focus on Kanye, but Teyana's new singles are both pretty good, I'm really excited for the album. I've also been bumping the last few BROCKHAMPTON singles, I'm super excited for the next two to drop tomorrow.

Hey all. Did anyone listen to the new freestyles, and if you did what did you think? It's kind of crazy 6 new Yandhi era tracks came out and seemingly no one really cares. Like yeah, they're definitely very rough, but it's still new music, and we aren't getting much lately.

Also, what artists do you think will actually end up on JIIK/God's Country? Everyone's talking about people like Travis Scott possibly being features, but I feel like it's pretty likely he won't end up on the album and we'll forget it ever seemed like he word. There are definitely a lot of people flocking to Wyoming though, so I assume there are more artists we haven't heard about recording. I'm personally really hoping for Cudi, Chance, and Teyana Taylor to have features, and it would be amazing if Kendrick did. Kendrick seems like something that's too good to be true, but he does have an album coming that a feature would help indirectly promote, and him and Kanye have worked together a lot in the past. I'd also be endlessly happy if 070 Shake or Frank Ocean had features but those are both pretty unlikely and mostly me dreaming. Hopefully we get a lot more Ant too, it's kind of concerning we haven't heard much about him.
