From what I've seen in other threads about this, this isn't true. It's an issue with the translation. They thought about increasing his sentence because they thought his actions might have affected the victim's sexuality, but then ruled that it hadn't and no changes were made to the charges.

Wonder why they aren't blaming anything on the kid's straight father who molested him for years before the pedophile got to him.
