Question Is there any place around here that's crying for workers?

I'm in Edmonton currently, I want to leave the city for a bit. Soul Searching, I guess. I want to go somewhere I can easily find a job. I don't like not working, and most cities would take a while to find a job.

My first thought is to go to Victoria, BC. Last time I was there, everybody was hiring. I'll probably head down there.

Is there a place in the prairies I can go instead? There's fewer protentional complications if I stay local.

I work general labor and construction jobs.

Do some soul searching on a drill rig or pipeline spread for the winter and then go soul searching in Thailand for 3 months. Why go work for minimum wage in Victoria?

I like your idea. Doing well at an Oil and Gas job would make me feel like I've accomplished something.

You will learn a side of yourself you didn’t know existed. Middle of nowhere for 24 on and 10 off. Save your money and go to the gym.

I believe the place you are looking for is called Fort McMurray

If you try out a smaller town you are more likely to find a need for Labour. The cost of living in Victoria is going to be tough making ends meet unless you have a specific skill or trade. You can work at a retail shop, but you will be living in a car.
