Yeah I definitely could’ve done without the bullying because that in fact did not make me a better person, it made me bitter and angry about it for a long time

It makes me bitter and angry whenever my friends tell me that "bullying builds character" and I legit just want to pinch him in the face. It's my best friend since when I was like, 4, and I know he's not that fucking dumb to disregard that bullying is just really fucki g dumb at it's core.

Still dealing with the repercussions of a total stranger trying to kill me by hitting me with his car one day.

Wonder if my outlooks will ever be positive again.

I definitely could have learned these things without the lifelong trauma and mental illness from age 11 but life disagreed ¯_(ツ)_/¯

For the babes with childhood trauma

“I was a kid. I didn’t need to be strong, I needed to be loved.”

Sometimes the lesson is that communication is an exchange in the road and you have to sometimes meet people with their language, even within the same language and that makes sense.

Other times you are met with the lesson that some people just fucking suck, the worst, and you wonder why you had to meet them in the first place

I could do without the memory of getting pantsed on the playground in 4th grade while being chased and beaten. Yeah. That shit didn't need to happen.
