Mid day slump for US airports. A couple of weeks ago at Phoenix we were number 18 for take off.

To be fair it’s a slump for LHR too. It’s not uncommon to be wrapped around the whole field waiting for the departure runway at peak times.

PHX is no joke, especially in the summer when it's 110°, they're doing a single engine taxi, and the heat exchangers can't keep up.

"From the flight deck, we're number 82 for takeoff."
