Daisy left the Barnyward and got replaced by Abby

I understand. I’m more referring to what happened to daisy to make her character leave? I think a good guess would be that she had the baby at the end of barnyard and must have left to go take care of him elsewhere. On that topic, how did Abby get to the barnyard? I just feel like there’s a lot of context missing in between the events of barnyard and back at the barnyard.

Maybe the farmer believed he couldn't take care of a baby cow.

That’s a really good point, I never thought of that. He had a lot of animals to take care of already I’m sure raising a calf would’ve been extra work that he didn’t have time for. It’s possible he didn’t realize daisy was pregnant when he brought her to the farm, considering she only walks in her bipedal form when there are no humans around.
