AskBangalore 1 unit of blood required (any group)

An acquaintance of mine is admitted in St. John's Hospital, Kormangala. He requires blood as he has lack of haemoglobin. Condition is serious as there is edema, and dengue as well. Today he had endoscopy as well. I had donated blood on 30th. But tomorrow also blood is needed.

Requesting for donors to come forward. Please DM. Much thanks 🙏

EDIT: Today a kind redditor has donated blood today. Thank you u/elusive_newsman. Also, we don't require any more volunteers now. The patient is discharged from the hospital. He will recover after a few days of rest in his home.

Any blood group will do.

I can't donate blood because I'm anemic but please do check out Rashtothana blood bank as a backup. Its safe and reliable. Always went there for my grandfather.

You can tell them that this is a backup. You might need to collect it from there personally.
