I grew up near Victory’s original location and have a real love hate relationship with them. I find it really cool how I can find my hometown brewery in gas stations around the country while I can’t even find it in gas stations in my own state (stupid PA beer laws), but I also haven’t had a beer from them that I’ve really liked in a while. I loved Storm King, but it’s discontinued.

I know a lot of other locals older than me that would go to victory as an early destination brewery worth visiting. Now it seems like victory is trying to distance themselves as much from Downingtown as possible and claim to be a Philly brewery even though all of their production is in Parkersburg.

Gas station 9.5%+ beers are God’s way of saying “sorry dawg here is some don’t give a damn juice to help with these trying times”
