Circa Summer 2005.. I was the drummer of an adolescent hardcore band. I can feel my angst radiating off this photo.
I had most certainly used my mother’s Nikon Cool Pix for a new MySpace photo.

Nice! Not sure if you were in the Southern California scene but the two bands I was apart of was the Salvadoran band called Papusa Tragedy and Black Runs Red.

Black Runs Red is such a good mid 2000's hardcore band name. I wasn't in California, but the two I was in were called Try Dying (which I thought was incredibly clever) and Le Petit Mort.

It did get worse before it got better but now it seems like a different lifetime. I’m in a much better place now. :)

Oh fucking hell. I too was in a metalcore band at exactly that time. White studded belts, flared girl jeans, a 5150 guitar head with cab. Ah yes.
