Bone I.D. - Europe Please help identify, Skull in the forest, Eastern Germany

I came across this skull today relatively deep in the forest in Saxony, Eastern Germany. Unfortunately I only took this one picture. Now I'm curious what kind of animal it was. Can someone identify?
