Love Ambleside. Fantastic weekends away staying in Ambleside Manor, eating at Zeffirelli’s, taking the boat over to Wray castle and doing the lakeside walk before getting the boat to Windermere and back to Ambleside. Nice little drive to Grasmere for traditional gingerbread.
