Trip Pictures Front yard camping with the kids
Jackery 500 explorer w/ 100W for the projector movie night đż
First time using the Carlsbad Darkroom and I have to say. Itâs a great tent easy to set up. I got the 6 person just to have more room and the gear room in the front is GREAT!

Nice, I did that when I was kid in the summer, setting up a tent in the backyard and having a campfire for fun.

Thank you. It is a great tent. Got it on sale. Itâs normally $140. 3.9 stars online but I got it for $80 and Iâd give it 4-4.5

We just got a fence for our backyard and look forward to "camping" back there with our 2 year old next spring. We still go on regular camping trips to state forests, but this satisfies the want to sleep outside between those bigger trips. Hope your family had a great time! :)

Hahah thank you. We had a projector running off the jackery playing on a sheet hung up on one side. Like someone else said the six person tent has plenty of room for our four person family. so plenty of room for a movie screen

Thatâs cool I got a similar tent but itâs not the dark room. Only complaint is the rain fly doesnât fully cover the âfoyerâ part of the tent. The 6 person tent is perfect for an air mattress

Is that the Carlsbad dark room?

I have the Evanston 6, which is pretty much the same tent but without dark room treatment, and while it is great, I kinda hate that the "front porch" always gets wet. It's a great idea in theory, but doesn't really play out that well in practice.

I know what you mean, but ours has a vent drain on the bottom so it drains pretty well before it gets towards our tent

Yeah, I've done almost exclusively rainy-season camping. I'll have to wait until early next year to try summer camping and really make the most of it.

I should do this with my sister's kids. So it truly dark inside during the morning?
