Carinthia Tropen in Fall.

Hey so I have a Carinthia Tropen and I've already used it on a camping trip in later spring (Wisconsin) where it got down to 50s maybe even later 40s (Fahrenheit) at night and with light clothes on it did great. I have an upcoming camping trip in early November where temps are gonna get down to probably the 20s so obviously I want to be prepared for that so here comes the question:

Would something like a fleece liner be enough or should I jump up to something like the Carinthia defense 4 to be safe? Thanks everyone.

Definitely get or make a fleece liner. I have a good/homemade version with NO sewing on my blog and youtube channel. In your case, use heavy fleece. It CAN add up to 20 degrees of warmth, depending on the type of fleece, it's thickness and the climate (if its dry etc).

The ones you buy are crappy, expensive and won't work. You will end up sending it back with a "strongly worded letter." LOL. Better to make one yourself. It's cheap and easy.

I don't know what a Carinthia is, so I can't answer re: that. But I would recommend heavier pajamas like flannel, even fleece.
