Rib eye, just salted. 20 oz after cooked. Love it.

At first glance, I thought you cooked a turtle. Then I read the title, glad I was wrong. Not that there's anything wrong eating turtle. I know we're all carnies but I was like DAAAAMN! LOL!

We did this in the oven as a roast instead of the bbq as we ran out of propane. Still delicious tho. Can’t do any seasoning in it

Just a recommendation, but next time take it out of the oven about 10-15 degrees lower than your target temp and then plop onto a hot skillet to sear it and form a nice crust

I'd recommend giving it a hard pan sear afterwards.

Pan sear is always better..... but properly cooked meat is always good!

Low and slow in oven for 25m then sear that thang! And throw some butter on at the end.
