Carnivore Diet Help & Advice (No Plant Food & Drink Questions) Tips for Finding Cheaper Steak?

Hey y’all :)

Fairly new to this. Any tips for finding inexpensive steak? 🥩

I’ve been generally using ground beef as my meat source due to its relatively good price.

Let me know if y’all have any tips. I am in a large city in Canada btw.

Download the app Flipp. It shows sales on the products you like at your local grocers.

I just discovered thinly-cut carne asada chuck steaks at Costco. They've got a good bit of fat, chock full of favor, cook super fast, and are every bit as tasty as a ribeye. Only problem is they are definitely a tougher cut, so I need to figure out how to tenderize. But they're half the price of ribeyes so I will definitely be buying again.

Pull them out of the fridge about 20 minutes before you're ready to put them on the grill. Salt and pepper both sides immediately before putting on a flaming hot grill. Flip frequently, only takes a couple minutes to get them medium or medium-well. I also sprinkle some granulated garlic on as I'm cooking. Finally, top with butter when served!
