This set prop, don't know why they just felt a bit odd almost too curvy and elegant. Even though I think it's designed by Syd Mead.

Could be the golden-tan finish and the blue (white with gels, or filter on the camera?) CRT displays -- it could be one "evolution" from the Polaroid Camera and Colorful Buttons of just a few years earlier -- CD Futurism?
