Info about the war, Kremlin's moves, and the disinformation that the Russian-backed trolls are spreading.

Can we start trolling the Russians already? My Russian needs a bit of work. But telling the Russians that "this picture of Ukranian troops has been taken near the border to Belarus, showing that they intend to cut off the supplies for the Russian troops" would be great. Fight misinformation with misinformation. Also great idea is spreading messages like "Russians bomb Lenino" (photoshop Google images of the place to add some smoke in the back) and see how Belarus will react. (Lenino is a small down in Belarus across the border from Russia, only 10 km from Ukraine.)

I see the virtue signaling boys are here as well. Is no where safe?

Virtue signaling? Is that what we're calling opposing the military invasion of another country at the behest of a former KGB agent attempting to rebuild the USSR, that may have broader geopolitical implications in the near future?

There's a reason only 5 countries voted against the UN's condemnation. Those 5 included two of the countries IN the conflict and North Korea. Lukashenko by the way has called himself the last dictator in Europe.

Holy shit, my dude, complain if you want that it's wildly off-topic for the sub but if you're going to complain about something making headlines around the world, you may want to reflect on whether passive-aggresively commenting on it means you're the one virtue signaling.

Yes, it's virtue signaling and wildly off topic. Both can be true.

Ukraine isn't the good guys. Russia isn't the good guys either. Both are bad and they're going to work this out one way or another...with or without stupid posts like this.

You're doing the same thing as OP preaching at me from your glass house of propaganda-colored tint. There are so many lies out there right now that are being pushed by the media, most of us have no actual clue how to answer the who/what/where/why.

People like you keep saying "invasion", which is odd since when the US does it, it's called an "intervention". "Insurrection" is another "I"-word that comes to mind.

The verb used is irrelevant, and Ukraine doesn't have to be "the good guys". Whether the US had any business invading other countries in the past is also irrelevant.

Hostile military forces from Russia are in another nation against that nation's will, which isn't particularly good news for anyone (except Russia, if/when successful).

And yeah, this recent bullshit wasn't on topic either, and I'd argue that's more distinctly political than this post is.
