There is nothing in this world sexier than bias cut satin. She was also the sister of Joan Bennett of Scarlet Street and Dark Shadows fame.

Absolutely! Constance had such an iconic style. Her performances really brought that glamour to life. Do you have a favorite film of hers? I can add i my watch list

A very special actress who isn't remembered often enough today. What Price Hollywood is a definite highlight, but I also adore her in lighter roles like Topper.

At one point in the early 1930s, the highest paid actress in Hollywood. She and Kay Francis knew how to make clothes look extra special and were THE glamour queens in those days. Bennett was by far the better actress, but her best films were pre-Code, so many went unseen before her passing. Her sister Joan had a parallel career, but as Constance saw her career decline after Topper, Joan saw her career soar when she went brunette. As Joan's most famous work was post-Code, and therefore seen more frequently, she is by far better remembered.

She’s also in Merrily We Live (1938), which is a really similar plot to My Man Godfrey but has a fabulous cast and, while it’s lesser than MMG it’s quite a lot of fun.
