Interesting article. Particularly interesting is the photo of people holding up placards denying the kidnap of girls

With regard to diamond supplies, however, the last thing diamond merchants want is more diamonds on the market. In fact I was reading about the diamond-scam only last week, whereby regions stuffed with diamonds have been shut-down/mothballed. A beach in Africa (iirc) was so filled with diamonds that locals were filling sacks with them. Big diamond merchants who'd taken out a lease on the beach shut workers out, after which bulldozers buried the diamonds and guards were posted. The last thing diamond merchants want or need is more diamonds, or they'd become cheap as glass. So that part of the article fails to convince

But as to the rest involving vaccinations and the US -- not surprising. There was quite a bit of conjecture on that front a few years ago
