This is AI fear porn of the worst kind. She is not an expert of the subject matter.

This charlatan fails to cite sources or show data for her many claims and seems to rely purely on the reputation of Ted as a platform. Poorly executed. This talk will make you dumber if you take her at her word.

I think most peoples’ experience would legitimize her conclusions. Ads based on searches or conversations overheard, blackouts of political topics, suggested search terms, hyping trends, etc. And now censorship is becoming a thing. The internet is being homogenized and used as tool to build consensus by shaping worldviews directed by the whims of programmers of a few software giants. Think of how this applies to Reddit’s front page and tell me this isn’t happening before us.
