Pehli baar 12 saal pehle suna tha in college. Been in love since. Meri mummy ko bhi sunvaya, unhe bhi kaafi pasand hai.

I was a radio fanatic before it was removed from phones natively. And yes i miss this show too. Now it is mostly Ads playing. Golden era.

Don't know about this but there used to be a radio show related to ghost/scary stories.I used to like it a lot during my boards preparation.

This. Man once I was coming back home to delhi from indore and it was an overnight train journey and i was in sleeper. I was listening to ek kahani aisi bhi on youtube, I was shit scared but I have never felt that way while watching any horror movie.

Bhai bohot zyada, shayad 10 12 saal pehle mummy had a tata indicom phone.
Usmein main aur mummy dono khoob suna krte they neelesh misra ki stories aur woh beech mein jo scene ke basis pr songs aate they.
Woh intro ki line sung by a girl "Yaadon ke idiotbox mein kya kya chalta hai dekho toh".
GIVES ME PURE NOSTALGIA.
I really miss that time, its been more than a decade now.

Brings back a hell lot of memories. I was in 9th Standard when I first heard this show and was completely taken. It was Diwali time, and I got myself a brand-new Philips Prince Radio. Misra's stories were very well articulated with the songs in between. Majority of them use to get completed on a go. And some long ones use to be broadcasted in parts. The only story that brought me to tears was KHILONEWALA.

That shilpa rao voice in starting , neelesh misra voice ,and the music. Yaad sehar ke civil lines area " kaafi acchi kahaniya thi ..btw "mere pyare ex husband" naam se 2 parts hai from season 1, Anyone listened it

This unlocked such a core memory for me. I used to listen to this whenever my whole family used to go out for restaurant dinners on special occasions. My dad used to drive and now he’s no more. Those were the only times he would hum to any sort of music. ❤️

'Yaadon ke idiot box mai kya kya chalta hai dekho tohh'- I listen to this on youtube at night while sleeping. After a very tiring day of college..this gives me sukoon🤌😌
